POSITION FEATURES:D shift 6p-6aPURPOSE AND SCOPE:Automated Line Technician Apprentice trains to operate and maintain our cutting-edge equipment and systems.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have ability and aptitude to quickly learn new process equipment

Be ready to collaborate with a cross functional and diverse team

Have a strong desire to learn the following:

PLC and HMI systems

Proper troubleshooting techniques for advanced automated processes, assembly, vision/barcode systems and packaging electro-mechanical systems.

Interfacing with inline print systems.

Ability to develop detailed process maps and standard operating procedures.

Demonstrate ability to complete tasks and deliver output under a constrained time line.

Assist with validation of equipment and methods.

Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

May escalate difficult/complex issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.

Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant.

Follow all Fresenius Policies.

Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job.

Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma required.

College enrolled students with 30 credits or less are eligible

High school GPA 2.5 (B) or above (4.0 scale)

High school Algebra and Geometry or 2 units equivalent of academic math (GPA 2.5 or above in each case)

High school English (GPA 2.5 or above)

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Less than 1-2 years' experience in pharmaceutical or FDA manufacturing industry.

Prior military service highly desired.

Have studied engineering, technology, robotics or shop

Basic computer skills

Excellent attendance is required

Active participation in the classroom and in the workshop to advance technical skill and capabilities

Pass the exams throughout the program

Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 in the course.
