And today, we’re defining the future of on demand mobility.This position will function as an Avionics Technician in the Aircraft Services department at Bell's Piney Flats, TN location.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary responsibilities of this position include the following:Avionics repair and system installationInstalling avionics kitsTesting and maintaining electrical systemsFabrication of custom sheet metal itemsInstalling wires and building wiring harnessesOther duties as assignedCandidates selected for this position will be offered a weekday (Monday-Thursday) shift or weekend shift (Friday-Sunday). Offer will be based on preference (if available) and business need.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :Education Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPosition Requirement s:Must be able to work a 3x12 shift (12-hour shifts, Friday – Sunday)0- 2 years of experience in avionics or related electrical / electronic work. Additional skills and experience may qualify selected candidate for higher level/pay grade.Skills/Certifications:Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principlesAbility to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance manuals and blueprintsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionAbility to purchase own tools required for the jobs assignedMust work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet scheduleAbility to work overtime as requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to fabricate wiring harnessesPrevious experience in aviation electronics / related fieldSheet metal knowledgeWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as requiredAbility to lift 25 lbs.Don’t miss the chance to join a diverse, inclusive environment that embodies one of our core values, Lift Each Other Up.
