Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Chinese Translator in the transport industry, based in LaVergne, Tennessee, United States. As a Chinese Translator, you will primarily be tasked with translating written and verbal material between Chinese and English, with additional responsibilities in administrative tasks and data entry. Responsibilities: Translate written material from Chinese into English and vice versa, ensuring the translated versions convey the same meaning as the original material. Review and edit final translated versions to guarantee accuracy. Confer with subject matter experts and clients to ensure accuracy in technical translations. Utilize reference materials and translation tools to ensure consistent translations. Stay updated on evolving language trends for accurate translation. Adhere to industry ethical and detail oriented standards and guidelines. Perform minimal administrative tasks and data entry duties as needed. Manage inbound calls and provide administrative assistance as required. Uphold the standards of English translation and maintain high-quality translationsRequirements Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Chinese and English languages, with emphasis on translation skills. Experience in administrative assistance, including management of inbound calls. Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the transport industry. Proficiency in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Strong organizational and time management skills.
