Description We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Financial Services industry, located in ALCOA, Tennessee, 37701, United States. The role involves overseeing customer relations, account building, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role provides a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Enhance and maintain customer relationships through outstanding service Expand account volume via effective customer interactions both in-person and over the phone Adhere to all company policies and comply with State and Federal lending regulations Reduce overdue debt through strategic telephone collection activities Accurately post all payments and fees to customer accounts in line with company policies Perform data entry tasks for loan applications and documents Handle and process credit loan applications and manage loan closures as directed Develop strategies for customer solicitations at the counter and via telephone Utilize Microsoft and Microsoft Excel for various tasks Provide excellent call center customer service, maintaining operations smoothly Use Spanish language skills for translation as needed. Requirements Proficiency in credit and commercial collections, cash collections, and collection processes Familiarity with both consumer and commercial collections, as well as debt collection Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Experience with keyword research Previous experience in a call center environment, including customer service and operations Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, including translation Knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team High level of professionalism and ethical standards Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
