We are looking for a skilled Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and hydronic systems. A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of hydraulic systems. They must be patient individuals with excellent communication skills who can work efficiently with a wide range of tools to be able to install or repair pipes and tubes. The ideal candidate will be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety regulations in the place they work and perform a variety of tasks. The goal is to install or repair pipes and tubes with great efficiency and without causing any harm to either the system or people around it.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings and instructions to understand how a plumbing system should be installed or repaired

Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing systems (e.g. water supply)

Install water supply lines, gas lines, sewer lines etc.

Repair water supply lines, gas lines etc.

Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly

Knowledge of commercial and institutional plumbing fixtures, including proper installation of fixture carriers.

Perform routine maintenance (replacing water supply lines etc.)to ensure that water supply lines remain uninterrupted and the system

is safe for consumption

Install waste disposal systems, grease interceptors, oil interceptors, and solids/lint traps.

Repair broken or defective flush valves, faucets, or water heaters as required.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Strong plumbing skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems

- Experience in construction plumbing and working on construction sites

- Knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical systems

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment

- Basic math skills and familiarity with pipe threading techniques

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour

Compensation Package: Paid time off, sick day, bonus opportunities, company vehicle (contingent on clean driving record)

Schedule: Typically 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, some weekends and evenings.

Work Location: NE Tennessee/SW Virginia
