This role plays a critical role in guiding financial decisions, ensuring financial compliance, and managing a team through a monthly financial close process.Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, this individual plays an integral role in a fast-growing organization while providing strategic financial guidance and support to the local leadership team.The successful candidate will develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. The candidate will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts, including segment-based financial reporting.This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable and results-oriented professional to lead a dynamic finance team across multiple sites and countries to ensure successful future growth.Business Unit Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, revenue forecasting, and scenario planning.Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial guidance and formalized structure for capital expenditures. Team LeadershipBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organization.Create a culture focused on customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department. Financial Reporting and ComplianceEstablish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Maintains the currency hedging program and measures effectiveness with a commercial mindsetManage control processes, including set-up of new customers and suppliers and commissions payments.Oversee AR and AP functions and ensure timely collection, payment, posting and follow-up activities.Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts, including segment-based financial reporting.
