What you will be doing

FIS Biller Solutions is hiring a Senior Database Administrator. In this role you will support multiple environments from production to team qa platforms.

You will work with the other DBAs to insure the databases are available 24x7 for payment processing. You will also interact with different areas of the organization to assist with the design and development of solutions.

What you bring:

A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Must be a or have held their for a minimum of 3 years

Experience Required

- SQL Development experience

- Creation and optimization of Stored procedures

- Functions and common table expressions, views, etc.

- ETL

- SSIS

- SSRS

- Query and data storage optimization including proper use of indexing, cache, and statistics

- Database Administration and Development using SQL Server Managed instances on Azure and Sql Server 2016+

- Monitoring automation, backups, restores, and performance tuning

- Database tuning and SQL Server profiler

- Data retention plans

- File generation from SQL

- File load processes into SQL

Added bonus if you have:

- Linux experience is a plus

- Experience in payment processing is a plus

- Experience with Database Performance Analyzer (Ignite) is a plus

- TFS and sharepoint experience a plus

- Powershell is a plus

- Microsoft Azure and cloud experience is a plus

- Azure Data Factory

- Azure Logic Application

- Azure Functions

- Storage Containers

- SQL table partitioning

- Disaster Recovery

- Experience with a 24x7 environment

- Experience with data sets (500+ GB)

- Database replication and log shipping

- .Net SQL clr

- Application release support

- Database Maintenance plans

- Oracle 12, 18, 19 multitenenat and container databases administration is a plus
