Robert Half might have the Desktop Support Technician role for you, if you have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. To thrive in this position, you will need to be a self-starter, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Oak Ridge, Tennessee, area.What you get to do every single day- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities Requirements - Proficiency in Active Directory- Microsoft Azure experience preferred- Microsoft Office 365 experience- Desktop support or related experience- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
