Join us.JOB PURPOSE:The Digital Product Owner works as a member of a Scrum Team to help maximize the value of the product and the work of the Scrum Development Team.Responsible for small projects, with moderate complexity, of less value to the organization.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but not limited to:The Product Owner works intimately with the Scrum Master and the Development Team with the primary task of creating and managing the Product Backlog and to ensure everyone knows the priorities.Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development TeamResponsible for acting as Product Owner for larger, more complex projects with high value to the organizationResponsible for creating, maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the projectCommunicate Product Backlog priorities to the teamAct as the key decision-maker regarding what features the product will haveResponsible for the vision of what is to be built, and conveying that vision to the teamAssists with the elaboration of epics, themes and features into user stories that are small enough, or granular enough, to be achieved in a single sprintResponsible for conveying the vision and goals at the beginning of every sprintWork closely with key stakeholders throughout the organizationResponsible for making decisions on release dates and contentRepresent the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customerParticipate in Daily Scrum as neededParticipate in Sprint Planning meetings, Reveals and RetrospectivesInspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint and accept or reject the work that has been done by the Development TeamAct as the voice of the team, communicating status externallyBe a good role model of Scrum values; understand the framework and the roles of each team memberBe a champion for the agile community and help to further the community within the organizationEmployee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.Basic Qualifications

Position requires a four year degree from an accredited college or univeristy - computer science, information systems, finance, accounting

5+ years of experience in performing business and data analysis in implementing large scale data platform and system integration

3+ Sql experience in performing data analysis and building data reports

3+ Experience in creating UX wireframes/mock ups

3+ Experience Enterprise Performance Management tool functionality

3+ Experience in building dashboards reports - nice to have Power BI

3+ Experience in large scale system integration and transformation project

3+ Experience in using Azure DevOps or JIRA tool

Strong understanding of SDLC methodology (Waterfall and Agile) and project management skills

Experience in creating business process flow and data flow diagrams

Ability to perform functional testing and coordinate with UAT testers to drive the data platform testing phase

Knowledge in Finance FP&A and Accounting domain

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

Certification in CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)

Cloud Platform : AWS

Experience in OneStream Enterprise Performance Management

Master’s in finance, operations and systems

Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

This position would ideally be located in Peoria, IL; however open to considering other Caterpillar facilities within the U.S. (candidates permanent address must be within 50-mile driving distance to a Caterpillar facility)
