Our client, a leading engineering and construction company, is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer/Code Inspector to join their team. As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will be part of the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) Construction project, supporting work planning, material management, quantity verification, and subcontract coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to safety, and field experience with electrical systems and inspection.Job Title : Electrical Field Engineer/Code InspectorLocation : Oak Ridge, TNPay Range : $55-$65What’s the Job? Prepare construction drawings, sketches, and schedules for temporary construction facilities. Manage material requisitions and conduct quantity takeoffs of field-purchased materials and equipment. Verify commodities using quantity tracking systems and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Ensure adherence to zero accident philosophy and maintain safe equipment operations. Review and approve inspection test plans and subcontractor submittals, coordinating with the subcontractor as needed.What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of experience in the field. Certification as a National Electric Code Inspector (ICC Commercial or IAEI General). Strong understanding of NFPA 70-2014 and relevant construction design codes and standards. Experience with DOE, DOD, or commercial nuclear construction projects.What's in it for me?
