In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction within a payroll project. You will be relied on to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. You will be a part of a team analyzing payroll information supporting the Human Resource department. This Financial Analyst role is a short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity and is located in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area. Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations

Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

Edit and manage payroll research reports to support the project.

Work closely with business partners in Payroll Accounting and Human Resources to execute a project completion.

Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized

Knowledge of HRIS

Analytical Skills experience

Numeric data entry experience

Strong familiarity with HR Payroll System; Paycom

Comprehensive knowledge of Paycom

Well-founded grasp of Human Resources Management System

Proven knowledge of research

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

Background in financial analysis and planning

Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
