Description We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team based in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The Financial Analyst will be actively involved in tracking and analyzing financial status, understanding variances from plans, and assisting in resolving commercial issues. This role is crucial in maintaining financial stability and fostering growth within the industry.Responsibilities: Monitor financial status by tracking and researching variances from the planned budget. Facilitate the decision-making process by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results. Assist in resolving commercial issues, including collection issues. Review and maintain the accuracy of customer pricing changes and retro billings. Participate in the contract review process to ensure financial viability. Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions. Investigate and resolve customer debits to maintain customer satisfaction. Develop automated applications to increase productivity and eliminate duplications. Conduct weekly tracking and reporting of plant expendable packaging claims. Assemble and summarize data, prepare reports, and make presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations to management. Support the coordination and preparation of the month-end close process, as well as the budget and forecast process. Develop financial models to support different budget and forecast scenarios. Provide assistance to operating management in assigned areas to facilitate proper implementation and control of budgeted plans and objectives. Support Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable job tasks and promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times. Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times. Complete any other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficient in various accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Demonstrated experience in budget processes including planning, forecasting, and analysis. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in financial software programs and MS Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Relevant professional certification such as CFA or CPA is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven business decisions. Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
