Comfortable with explaining to non-financial staff members intricate financial subjects in special projects
Interpret concluding results at the corporate and division levels
Inquest and query a massive amounts of data
Partake in the planning of monthly financial reporting and other business data
Present alternatives and suggestions to reduce costs and increase financial performance of a company
Provide support with ensuring adequate controls and procedures
Aid in annual budgeting process
Centralize and resolve budgets and income statement forecasts
Accommodate a number of aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)
Reinforce the monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Team up with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audit
Requirements
BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting required
Foundational knowledge of ERP systems
Advance Microsoft Excel knowledge
1 year of financial planning & analysis experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Statements
Solid understanding of account analysis
Budgeting experience
Adeptness in financial statements
Experience with fixed assets
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
