Forklift/Yard

East Chattanooga Lumber, a locally owned business in operation since 1940 seeks an experienced forklift operator. Full time position Monday-Friday, 7:30a – 5:00p. Health benefits, 401K w/ match, paid vacations & holidays.

Job Duties Include:

Operation of a forklift

Order pulling from an order form for delivery.

Assisting walk in customers with order picking and loading.

Receiving Material accurately and damage free.

Inventorying received material by properly turning older material.

Inventorying and restocking return material.

Assisting ECL drivers in loading trucks for delivery.

Assisting ECL drivers in order pulling.

Requirements:

Forklift Experience

General building materials knowledge and experience is preferred.

Walking, bending, twisting and lifting on a frequent basis.

Maintain housekeeping of trash and debris on the yard.

Work is performed outside, ability to work in extreme temperatures and conditions.

Work as part of a team
