Garage Door Technician

Job Overview: The ideal candidate must have experience in garage door installation, be capable of measuring and recording door opening sizes accurately, and possess good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Install garage doors, openers, springs, and cables.

Troubleshoot garage door systems.

Program opener remotes.

Inspect and measure door openings for new door installation.

Engage in conversations with customers.

Assist with heavy lifting when necessary.

Travel up to 30 minutes one-way (extra travel is compensated based on hours worked per trip).

Qualifications:

Highly motivated.

Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

Knowledge of garage door installation techniques.

Skilled in drywall repairs and installations.

Capable of heavy lifting as required.

Carpentry skills are a plus.

Employment Type:

Position is a 1099 contractor.
