The evaluator works under general supervision with a significant degree of creativity and latitude. This position works within a team-based environment. This position reports to and directly assists the Office of Primary Prevention Grants Manager and internal partners to complete regular reports to the funder and works closely with project team members and external stakeholders on the development of performance metrics and implementation of data collection and reporting.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:· Provide overall management of all grant evaluation and monitoring activities, including developing an evaluation plan and performance indicators, developing and managing timelines, leading the planning and implementation of data collection for monitoring and evaluation, and coordinating with program staff and external partners.· Build and maintain effective working relationships with funders, partners, contractors, and project participants/collaborators.· Contribute to the development of grant reports to the funder.· Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to document and share lessons learned both internally and externally.· Attend, organize, and/or facilitate project meetings.· Perform other duties related to grant program evaluation.Education and Experience Requirements:· The Lead Program Evaluator must have a master’s degree with at least three years of professional experience, or commensurate professional experience in lieu of a degree. Experience working with federal grants is preferred.Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:· Training/education and interest in public health· Experience providing administrative and coordination support for programs· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook· Experience working with REDCap preferred but not required· Ability to quickly learn and utilize systems and web-based applications· Strong communication and writing skills, including writing, editing, and presentation skills· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to multiple demands simultaneously· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well with diverse partners and constituents and function as a productive member of a teamThis is a contract position and is funded for the duration of the grant period ending in December 2027.TNRTR-.doc
