One of our clients is looking to fill a Help Desk Support Specialist position. Individuals with a background in IT or comprehensive knowledge of computers are encouraged to apply.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. (Security + and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications must be obtained within 30 days of starting.) Responsibilities of the Help Desk Support Specialist: - Provide technical support to customers
- Exchange technical information on a daily basis with a supervisor and customers
- Support a variety of semi-routine assignments
- Apply strong critical thinking and task prioritization skills
Requirements of the Help Desk Support Specialist: - High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of technical experience
- IT background with experience in desktop and network support
- Exemplary skills with personal computers and experience with relevant software
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on leadership and customer service
- Flexibility in number of days and hours worked, but must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday
