Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent food service to guests.
Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team setting.
Previous experience in catering or as a dietary aide is a plus but not required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
