- Function as an Expert/Leader in chosen technology area
- Should be well-versed & be hands-on in the required technology skills, frameworks, tools, CI/CD
- Strong in OOAD/OOP & design patterns
- Provides direction to the team on Software Engineering activities
- Ability to understand complex requirements and analyze and articulate into design; Technical reviews
- Refine and understand Project Scope, and support in defining the acceptance criteria for the project
- Develops estimation package
- Understands dependency on Stakeholder Functions and supports Scrum Master/PM in validating the feasibility and delivery of commitments
- Under general supervision supports project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities. Allocates tasks to the project staff,
- Identifies risks on a continuous basis for their impact on delivery and works with the SM/PM to manage them proactively
- Develops technical expertise in identified areas
- Very Strong in Java/JEE/Restful WS/TestNG/Junit/JMS/DB/Architecture.
- Has extensive experience in JEE Application server including installation and Administration.
- Has in depth knowledge in Design patterns and its implementation in the application framework.
- Highly Analytical, a problem solver, with good communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex requirements and analyze and articulate into design
- Good exposure on REST/SOAP Web Services
- Ability to find out and work with alternatives, check feasibility and propose solutions.
- R&D mindset and thirst for exploring/learning new skills.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Google Cloud Platform/Azure, GIT in terms of both tools and systems administration
- Good Exposure to Java/J2EE related technologies and Frameworks like Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices
- Proficiency in JVM technology and JVM troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of Load Balancers like F5 – LB methods, Virtual servers, Virtual Pools, Rules, Connection & Cookie persistence.
- Familiarity with information security - encryptions, SSL/ TSL etc.
- Knowledge and exposure on SQL (DB2/Oracle.PostGres) and NOSQL (Mongo) DB
- UI Related Technology Exposure – HTML, CSS, Java Script and Angular
- DevSecOps Knowledge – Jenkins, UDeploy, Sonarqube etc.
