- Lead teams and other Business Analysts to work collaboratively with Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Commercial and other business functions to gather requirements and design business processes, applications, and operational reports in support of various applications and business areas.
- Gather operational and functional requirements from business users and subject matter experts, analyze the information and data gathered, and provide direction in formulating new functions, processes and procedures to improve business processes for JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) enterprise resource planning and supporting systems. Develop technical specifications to implement solutions that are accurate, streamlined, and well documented. Develop test plans and oversee the execution of tests for system enhancements, upgrades, and service packages.
- Lead and collaborate with other Business Analysts to identify and develop ERP system strategies and system improvement opportunities to assist business functions with using the ERP and supporting systems.
- Analyze and examine complex business processes and procedures by reviewing user roles, use cases and other application specifications in detail.
- Address and guide defining medium to large project scopes and expectations and confirm that the application requirements are established and in operation within the project schedule and budget.
- Prioritize and resolve complex system issues to provide end-user support to ensure the system is performing as designed, information is timely and accurate, and end-users are functioning effectively. Ensure that operational requirements are property implemented and operational procedures are followed.
- Follow all prescribed software development life cycle and project management processes and procedures. Provide solutions for process improvement of IT processes and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT team members on the integration of all systems. Examples: Electronic Data Interface (EDI), Label and Scanner integration, Magic, DSI, SQL Server, IBM Cognos, Insight Software, etc.
- BA degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related tech field is a plus.
- Business Analyst, PMP, CSM or JDE certifications are a plus.
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst that includes the ability to gather & document requirements for software confirmation / customization in an Agile environment. Documentation skills include: use cases, user stories, process flows, etc.
- Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1)
- Requires experience w/ Sales Order Management AND warehousing
- Experience w/ supply chain/distribution, manufacturing, &/or finance modules outside of that is a big plus
- Ability to also handle support tickets for the platform is helpful. You will determine if it's a legit bug/issue, then document that to get it to engineering to fix.
- Expertise with SQL (structured query language) is required (any DB welcome, but we use MS SQL currently)
- Experience w/ any of the following is a plus:
- DSI terminals for barcode scanners
- Magik (integration broker)
- Bartender
- Previous Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Must have strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with users, development staff, and technical staff.
