We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer who will be heavily supporting production facilities in North, Central, and South America. They will be responsible for leading controls technology evaluation, application development and testing, design, programming, and implementation of innovative and advanced technology used in the process control systems. This position is also considered an expert who can troubleshoot new systems, legacy systems, and upgrade efforts.
Responsibilities:- Leading the development of the electrical areas of capital improvement project budgets and working on project cross-functional teams with teammates from maintenance, engineering, quality, production, and others as required
- Assists in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
- Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities
- Determines method of research for the planning, design development and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
- Communicate, negotiate and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer designing and implementing process controls
- Experience in using Allen Bradly, Rockwell Automation, PLC Programming
- Experience with Complex Controls for large processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
