Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer, JAVAjoin our Production Systems team in

LaVergne, TN(Greater Nashville area). This individualwill lead the analysis, architecture, design, development, and integration of one or more internal systems, and/or business applications including testing of systems in compliance with development standards. The Lead Engineer will also have a passion for making others better through collaboration and sharing best practices.

You’ll be part ofateam creating and extending the industry leading platform for content distribution to partners across the world. Our tech staff workclosely with business usersto understand their needs and help translate those needs into new functionality for our platform and our customers.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or directly related year for year experience
  • Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with full-stacksoftware development experience with modern languages(8 years’ experience)
  • Proficiency in Java (6 years’ experience)
  • Proficiency in relational database technology (2 years’ experience)
  • Expertise in DevSecOps/CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (1 year experience)
  • Expertise deploying applications in cloud
  • Experience in Microservice Architecture
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills

We have a preference for:

  • Experience and enthusiasm for mentoring a group of developers
  • Passion for open-sourcecommunity

The Lead Engineer’s key responsibilities are:

  • Hands on technical leadership
  • Collaborates with development and leadership teams to define and execute software development processes and controls
  • Ensure development initiatives meet user and business requirements on a consistent and repeatable basis
  • Designs and leads others in the development of custom software to meet business and user requirements
  • Performs code reviews and enforces code quality standards
  • Acts as technical lead and provides application development oversight and involvement for Third Party integrations
  • Designs, develops, and implements solutions to solve business requirements
