What You’ll Do
As a Service Plumber, you will:
Diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems (water, sewer, and gas).
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and small installs such as water heaters, garbage disposals, and filtration systems.
Cut, thread, assemble and install pipes; connect valves; caulk joints; and test finished job by allowing water to flow through correctly.
Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
Follow State laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.
Safely operate all types of drain cleaning and inspection equipment (i.e., 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8 drain cleaning machines, hydro jetting equipment, sewer and drain inspection cameras).
Mentor and develop team members and apprentices.
Educate customers on system upkeep, repair options, and future services.
Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain communication with dispatch and office staff.
Respond to emergency plumbing issues during on-call rotation.
Safely operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Represent the Bransford team with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1–2 years of plumbing service experience (more is a plus).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
Must pass a background check.
