- The legal assistant will help determine individual and family eligibility for TennCare.

- Bachelor or Associate Degree Required
- Paralegal studies / Legal experience a plus!
- Customer service or call center experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including, building / updating/maintaining spreadsheets / documents, and utilizing Outlook for communications
- Able to work efficiently / effectively in multiple databases to extract information
- Timely management of casework, including proper documentation and case resolution
- Able to professionally pivot work demands/tasks to support the business unit
- Able to research/review case information and document findings accurately
- Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient writer able to send clear, concise emails, including timely responses
- Good attention to detail and organization
- Efficiently and effectively process and index documents
- Utilize good time management, note-taking, email organization, and distribution skills
- Professional outreach to internal/external customers (remaining professional at all times)
- Maintain confidentiality and security of documents
- Attend workgroup meetings and participate in discussions
- Assist leadership team as necessary
