Linux Administrator | Full-time We are actively recruiting a Linux Administrator for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract to hire, but needs to be able to go on-site in Knoxville if needed. Living within a 2 hour radius to Knoxville is desired. Experience with Ansible is a must, as you will be responsible for supporting Ansible technologies and system upgrade projects. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and performing tests on Ansible and Linux (Red Hat) operating systems. Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.Must haves:- RHEL 7 or 8 administration: OS installation and configuration, apply OS update as needed.
- Ansible experiences
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, both written and orally
- Excellent organizational, planning skills and project management skills on system or application upgrade
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Shell scripting for system automation
- Coaching and mentoring Jr. system administrator skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent related experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience concentrated in IT Linux system administration
