Logistics Clerk

[We are partnering with a Chattanooga-based organization to staff multiple Logistics Coordinators to work 2nd and 3rd shifts through April 2025. This role primarily involves monitoring weather conditions to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods. The position requires individuals who can understand the impact of meteorology on transportation operations and effectively communicate this to relevant personnel.[Responsibilities:[ Accurately monitor and interpret weather forecasts that could affect transportation routes and destinations.

[ Evaluate potential risks and impacts of adverse weather on transportation operations and make necessary adjustments.

[ Communicate weather-related information to drivers, dispatchers, and other relevant staff in a clear and concise manner.

[ Collaborate with drivers to modify routes or schedules as necessary to avoid hazardous weather conditions.

[ Provide support and guidance to drivers navigating through challenging weather conditions.

[ Maintain and update records of weather-related incidents and their impact on transportation operations.[Qualifications:

[ Transportation industry experience preferred

[ Strong customer service skills

[ Willingness to work in the 4pm to midnight shift or 12a to 8a

[ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

[ Ability to multitask and work under pressure

[ Knowledge of transport operations and regulations is a plus

[ High level of initiative and ability to work independently

Interested candidates should be able to work non-traditional hours, 2nd
