Job Description
What You'll Need:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years in a facility maintenance position, with 2+ years in electrical repair.
- 2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience.
- Evaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
- Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
- Performcomplex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
- Readand interpretequipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
- Performregularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Detectfaulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Operatemotorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
- Complywith all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
- Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
- Advanced understanding of PLC.
- Ability to create Preventative Maintenance and training documentation.
