is hiring for a

Marketing Specialist (Consumer Insights) to contribute to our

Marketing team in

LaVergne, TN. This position can sit in

LaVergne, TN or NYC. The Marketing Specialist initiates and manages from conception through execution marketing campaigns that generate consumer demand and improve print and eBook sales. Theywill continually optimize digital marketing and advertising campaigns to reach consumer audiences, with special focus on paid and organic search engine marketing as well as retail, display, and social advertising. The Marketing Specialist supports content calendar and social media channels for select consumer facing brands. Additionally, you will analyze and interpret campaign and sales data to evaluate strategy, test new tactics, discover new audiences, validate potential opportunities, and determine ROI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or year for year related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years related marketing experience to include 1 year of digital marketing

Preferred Skills:

  • SEO Experience
  • Book marketing, digital media, or ad agency experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Works with the Ingram Marketing Advantage (IMA) team to conceive, plan, and manage book marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions at retail sites for IMA clients.

  • Generates high-quality, audience-oriented keywords, categories, and descriptive copy to improve discoverability and search engine optimization for books on retail websites.

  • Understands SEO within general search and retail environments (Amazon and Google) and executes search campaigns to increase reach and support other organic and paid efforts.

  • Contributes blog content, social media posts, and other content marketing as needed to support consumer-facing brands, generate organic awareness and traffic, and drive sales for promoted books.

  • Creates and manages additional paid social, retail, and display advertising campaigns including campaign setup and ongoing optimization.

  • Provides regular updates on status of marketing projects and initiatives through business development meetings, client reports, and presentations.

  • Collaborates with clients and teammates to ensure campaign strategies support overall business and client goals.
