Position Summary: Working under the direction of marketing leadership, the Multimedia Designer and Creative Team Lead is responsible for multimedia design, video production and editing, project management, quality assurance, and effective communication to key stakeholders across the system. This person will assist our senior graphic designers in developing streamlined processes, ensuring quality output, and maintaining brand standards. They will collaborate closely with marketing teams, service line leaders, physicians, and cross-functional departments to find new and creative ways to tell the Covenant Health story. Leads and inspires a team of multimedia designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Provides mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to team members to enhance their skills and professional development.

Multimedia Design:

Conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia content for a variety of platforms, including websites, mobile applications, email marketing, presentations, and marketing materials.

Ensures all multimedia content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates key healthcare messages.

Stays abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques to enhance the visual appeal and user experience.

Determines appropriate distribution strategies for content by working with the digital marketing and content teams.

Video Production and Editing:

Leads the planning and execution of video projects, from script development and storyboarding to filming and final editing.

Executes high-quality video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production, to create engaging and informative healthcare-related videos.

Oversees the editing process, ensuring that videos are compelling, accurate, and align with the organization's messaging and branding.

Collaborates with content creators and subject matter experts to create impactful educational and promotional videos for diverse audiences.

Stays informed about advancements in video production and editing technologies, recommending, and implementing improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of multimedia content.

Project Management:

Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of multimedia projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Coordinates with stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and healthcare professionals, to gather requirements and understand project goals.

Manages project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet organizational objectives.

Quality Assurance:

Conducts thorough reviews of multimedia content, including videos, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Implements quality control measures to uphold the highest standards in multimedia design within healthcare.

Collaboration and Communication:

Works closely with internal teams, including content creators, subject matter experts, and IT professionals, to integrate multimedia solutions seamlessly.

Communicates effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, incorporate revisions, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production. 5+ years of experience in marketing. 1 year experience in multimedia design.
