Payroll Manager

Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Manager in the heart of Hendersonville, Tennessee. You will be joining a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, overseeing a growing team, and managing payroll processes. You will also be instrumental in implementing new software systems and improving current workflows.Responsibilities Overseeing payroll processing for a substantial employee base using Paylocity. Guiding a team, with the potential for team growth in the future. Implementing process improvement strategies and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborating with the commissions team, who handle a large volume of weekly and bi-weekly commissions, along with salary and hourly employee payments. Assisting with the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite software, scheduled for the near future. Keeping up with the company's rapid expansion, which includes the opening of new locations regularly. Managing garnishments accurately and promptly, improving the current backlog. Comfortably handling manual processes and urgent requests in a commission-heavy organization. Ensuring accurate accounting functions, auditing, and benefit functions.Requirements Proven proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Proficient in performing Payroll Functions Demonstrated experience in Auditing Proficiency in Paylocity Ability to process Correct Garnishment Calculations Experience with Commission Functions Must be able to handle fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
