Description We are offering a role for an organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist in Stanton, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and inputting time data, managing payroll calculations, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role also requires the ability to work with both team members and employees to resolve payroll-related issues and stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.Responsibilities: Collect and input time data from project managers into the payroll software system Manage per diem and incentive calculations to ensure accuracy in payroll processing Conduct weekly audits of payroll information in spreadsheets to identify discrepancies Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Utilize strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing Collaborate with team members to resolve payroll-related issues Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices Perform other payroll-related tasks as required Familiarity with union or construction payroll processes is preferredSkills: Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
