Turner & Townsend is currently seeking a driven, focused and qualified PMO Manager to support the construction and commissioning of our client’s ground up multi-faceted battery facility.  The position is a field-based role that is dedicated to delivering the project through day-to-day onsite construction. Successful applicants will have experience with project management on manufacturing and industrial projects with a strong MEP component.Act as specialist sounding board for project engineersLead communications with Contractors to determine the best value of construction methods to improve the implementation of design standards with local methods.You will have a proven ability to deliver positive change, devise new approaches and contribute to innovation. You role model consideration and empathy, challenging unacceptable behavior and treating people as valued individuals and colleagues. Specifics activities include: Managing the client team, including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver a compliant projectLead and provide status updates for Client’s Board Approval meetingsMaintain and update project’s KPI delivery reportsManaging the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communicationsManaging the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviewsVerifying that effective program governance, processes and systems are utilizedEnsuring application of best practice on all projectsProduction of formal project status reports and other reports as requiredAnalyzing, tracking and effectively managing critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.Monitoring the progress of multiple construction trades simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctlyProviding technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholdersResponding to RFIs from the fieldProviding expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where requiredManage the transfer of project specific knowledge is shared amongst the Client’s NAM programCoordinate and collaborate with Project Leads to successfully create project specific requirements and deliverables that align with NAM Program requirements
