Pool Technician

As a Certified Pool Technician who enjoys being outdoors in an independent work environment at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating multiple pools and pool support areas throughout our resort according to all established standards and in compliance with Tennessee State Codes.As a Certified Pool Technician, you will:Test water chemistry in pool, using Taylor Test Kit, adjusting chemicals where necessary, maintaining all chemicals within state guidelinesClean pool filters according to established proceduresPerforms maintenance on all pool bathroom fixturesCleans pool, pool decks, furniture, pump areas, bathrooms, and pool tileRepairs and replaces all pumps, pump motors, chemical feed controls, pool plumbing, decking, ladders/steps, heaters, underwater lighting, and main gratesDeep cleans pool decks and Vac-Pac areas following established proceduresDelivers chemicals and other supplies to pools and related areasEnsures work and pool areas are in clean, neat, and safe condition To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
