Position Description: CGI is seeking a Production Support (Batch Scheduling) to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This is a Hybrid role and requires to be onsite 2 days/week (presently the role is remote until May 2023). This can be updated based on the clients return to office plan.

If you are a Production Support (Batch Scheduling) with experience working on enterprise-scale, multi-tiered, multi-platform, integrated systems; possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic that takes full ownership of the team's workload; are responsive to requests for assistance; and have the ability to effectively work with other teams, then this might be the role for you.

As a member of the project's Production Operations team, you are responsible for day-to-day operational support activities including batch job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and restarts; data fixes; performance and availability monitoring; Unix scripting; and participation in incident triage and resolution. Your future duties and responsibilities:• Planning for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Special Batch Cycles• Developing and testing Test and Production batch schedules• Executing batch cycles using IBM Workload Scheduler• Executing special Scripts and Manual Jobs• Monitoring batch cycles and responding to abends and other issues• Validating execution results and generating operational reports• Updating related documentation and schedules• Participating in major incident triage and resolution and in production cutover activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 1 - 2 years of working knowledge and experience in:o IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS) or equivalent batch scheduling toolso ETL processing and batch processingo At least one major RDBMS - SQL Server, DB2, Oracle o Unix scripting and Unix operating systems• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real time• Availability for shift work, specifically night and weekend hours• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with client and internal team members

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS• Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment• Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management• Familiarity with:o multi-tiered system architecture and network connectivityo IBM MQo IBM DataStageo IBM WebSphere Application Servero Red Hat ActiveMQ (AMQ)o JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)o JBoss OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)o AppDynamics

Minimum Education Required: Associate's Degree

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $53,100 - $92,900."
