DescriptionAmazon Global Engineering Services has an opening for an experienced Program Manager to join its Quality and Governance team as member of Engineering Planning & Analytics. The Quality and Governance team looks to address quality improvement opportunities within engineering processes. This role would be responsible for:Understanding complex processes, critical paths, and the systems that support suchIdentifying opportunities across platforms allowing for inadequate information transfer and unplanned adjustmentsCreating and leading defect analyses in order to drive meaningful process and quality improvementsWorking with Change Management organizations to qualify software and process barriers across Global Engineering Services (GES) org/systemsParticipate in Cross-Functional Groups to address and improve process & system challenges within Global Engineering Services (GES)Understand and mitigate system inputs to ensure ongoing software & process functionality in addition to Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracyIdentifying and addressing pain points through Lean Engineering and other applicable techniquesLeading & implementing significant process improvement projects within team and larger Global Engineering Services (GES) networkLeveraging pre-existing Change Management workflows to incorporate ongoing process improvements and to reduce opportunity for quality defects inside planning and implementation processesAssisting Software and Project teams with project valuation and prioritization for inclusion in roadmaps; includes ongoing validation trackingA day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. 3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
