Job description

```Duties```

- Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to accurately measure and inspect parts

- Conduct quality audits to identify any non-conformities or areas for improvement

- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends or patterns that may indicate quality issues

- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve any quality concerns or discrepancies

- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities

- Follow established quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

-Perform physical inspections of all welding work in the shops to assure procedures are followed and quality is maintained.

-Check for accuracy and compliance to drawings, specifications and Codes

```Skills```

- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles and practices

- Proficient in using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision measuring instruments

- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints

- Experience with data collection and analysis for quality management purposes

- Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and precision

- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with quality audits and the ability to conduct thorough inspections

- Ability to fabricate or modify inspection fixtures as needed

-Must be skilled in inspection of welds, joint prep, testing, cleaning, etc. Mostly welding on Stainless Steels including Duplex and 6 Moly grades and Nickel alloys using GMAW, SUB-ARC and some TIG.

- General knowledge of Radiographic Inspections required.

-Must be AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).

-Performs Dye Penetrant inspections per ASME Code guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
