Experience & Requirements
MHA, MBA or equivalent
RN with 8 plus years Management experience
Management experience relative to health care setting.

Works in accord with the Medical Directors and Superintendents to fulfill the contractual requirements. Interrelates and works effectively with medical, dental and nursing staff, security staff, administrative staff,YesCaremanagement support staff, and all officials.
Manages assigned staff. Coordinates the health care delivery system with the other functions within the region.
Develops the contract services budget for all institutions within the region. Manages the financial performance of the region.
Reports monthly to the Area Vice President regarding the following for the region:
Budget variances
Progress on the plan
Action of the Medical Audit Committee
Pertinent changes affecting the contract—contingency plans
Activities of all health services departments
Meets with the Superintendent or his/her designee, to effect the liaison of services within the institutions in the region. Recruits employees and independent contractors as needed, with assistance from the Human Resources Department. Assists with the screening, interviewing and orientation ofYesCaremanagement personnel in the region.
Coordinates with hospital administrators the delivery of services at hospitals outside of the institutions. When appropriate, negotiates third party contracts for the institutions within the region.
Coordinates the implementation of annual in-service training programs. Coordinates the annual health services planning process. Serves as chairman for the annual contract plan performance evaluation meeting. Makes recommendations for the improvement of services to the Area Vice President.
Participates in MAC meetings. AttendsYesCaremanagement and other meetings at the Central Office. Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate.
