Please note that this is a 9 months contract position. Candidates must be local to Memphis, TN. Hybrid schedule, 2 days remote, 3 days on site. Specifically looking for more candidates with some software testing (regression testing, user acceptance testing, functional testing, etc.) experience. Must haves:• Knowledge of distribution center operations• Validation – document testing• Enhanced SQL skillsSpecial requirements:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of business and systems experience in health care industry or distribution experience in a fast paced, dynamic, global operation is required.Experience with configuration and execution in a warehouse management application and s is required.Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, JDE, Etc.), Warehouse Management (WMS) Systems (JDE, JDA, BY, MARC, Etc.) material handling equipment, Warehouse Control (WCS) Systems (Exacta, MDCS, Etc.) and SQL are preferred.Project management experience is preferred.Other features of the job:Other related duties as required.Required Skills:• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills• A track record of process improvement, cost reduction and/or customer service success; results oriented• The ability to communicate and interact effectively across internal departments• The ability to influence at various organizational levels• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, and be self-directed• The ability to lead change efforts• Comfortable working in an ever-changing matrix environment• Big picture orientation with attention to detail• Sense of urgency• Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Visio, Project and Outlook• Ability to manage consultants and work teams• Ability to travel 10-15%Other Skills Preferred:• Operations knowledge of warehouse management systems (JDE, MARC, PRMS, SAP, BY) and transportation systems within the Medical Device business• Experience working with validated systems• Experience with Process Excellence (Six Sigma and Lean) tools, training, and/or certificationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Talk, listen, sit, stand, twist, bend, and walk on a repetitive basis on a concrete floor; Repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (22 kg)Description:The Analyst will be responsible for identifying opportunities for technological and operational improvements within the U.S. Distribution Network while following the SDLC systems methodology.Essential duties and responsibilities:This position will be responsible for managing U.S. Regional WMS projects and supporting other projects/initiatives, including business case development, concept / feasibility assessment, project planning, system and process design, key milestone tracking, data pulling and analytics and providing project status updates to the distribution management team.This position will also be responsible for assisting with user acceptance testing, and end user training.In addition, the Senior Distribution Technology Analyst will also be responsible for managing U.S. Regional WMS distribution technology issues/enhancements list, ensuring SDLC methodology is followed, and driving issue resolution.
