Department: Bed Board Transport

Schedule: Variable hours- One to two weekday shifts worked as a Transfer Center RN (12 hours shifts)Two to three weekday shifts worked in supervisor role (5 hour shifts)Monday - Friday 6AM-6PM

Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and provide leadership while directing activities of Transfer Center associates. Deliver quality patient care and ensures implementation of clinical objectives.

Assess daily patient access needs and ensure that appropriate patient care coordination is provided.

Provide oversight involving all aspects of schedule management focusing on transferring patients to other facilities within the market, other markets, and other healthcare facilities.

Delegate appropriate duties to clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities, maintaining proficiencies related to job functions and processes through ongoing monitoring of daily operations up to and including direct management of transfer cases.

Collect information from applicable sources to communicate information necessary to Transfer Center operations.

Collaborate with department leadership to ensure Transfer Center processes are up to date and followed.

Participate with ongoing quality initiatives, auditing projects and development of plans for improvement.

Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
