Security Research Engineering Technical Leader for an award-winning software company in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. You will evaluate our global products and services to identify security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and improvements. Also, will be a part of industry-leading engineering teams to assess the latest system and application architectures, contribute to creative security solutions, and gain unparalleled access to and experience with the latest technologies.Responsibilities for the Security Research Engineering Technical Leader Include: • Applied architectural security • Cryptographic algorithm design and review • Security of virtualization platforms and techniques • Web protocols and API security • Secure development practices • Software vulnerability assessment, fuzzing, and code analysis Requirements for the Security Research Engineering Technical Leader Include: • 6+ years of security penetration testing experience, including areas like web applications, APIs, user interfaces, and embedded devices • 6+ years of software engineering or reverse engineering experience with C, C, or Python/Ruby, or a commonly used programming language, with experience in secure coding/development and code analysis for vulnerabilities • 6+ years of technical leadership experience in security assessments • Experience with hands on Unix experience with a solid understanding of security hardening configurations and capabilities • Strong experience as a DevOps engineer, with a focus on DevOps security • Bachelor's Degree Compensation of the Security Research Engineering Technical Leader: • Salary Range: $120,000 - $190,000 plus health benefits, 401k match, PTO and paternal leave Keywords: C, C, or Python/Ruby, Devops, Security Hardening, Unix, Linux, DevOps Security, Penetration testing, Api security, Cryptographic, algorithms, architectural security, AWS, Cybersecurity, Security, IAM, network Security, Lambda, EC2, CloudTrail, Cloud Security Engineer
