- Identifying, developing, and implementing solutions for Oracle EBS and the downstream apps that it connects with
- Researching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
- Coordinating efforts for multiple projects at once with development, QA, infrastructure, and operational teams
- Assisting and supporting end-user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Act as subject matter expert and provide best practices recommendations
- Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with business partners to understand business processes and proactively recommend solutions
- Gathering detailed business requirements and perform gap analyses, document functional/technical specification documents
- Assisting with identifying and documenting data and integration issues and supporting Integration work streams
- Providing updates on project status, issues, risks, escalations, and change requests
- Coordinating with 3rd party vendors on application support issues, defects, and enhancements
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite: process mapping, gap analysis, defining business requirements, implementation and configuration of Financial and Procurement products, including General Ledger, Payables, Assets, Cash Management, Payments, Inventory, and Purchasing
- Extensive experience in functional and technical aspects of Oracle eBusiness Suite deployment, development, customizations, testing and user training
- Exposure to R12 features including SLA and AME
- Expertise in technical and functional practices in Procure-to-pay, and GL Records & Reporting
- Familiarity with Oracle Application technologies and development tools, such as Oracle Forms/Reports, Workflow, Desktop Integration, and Personalization
- Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite internal integration points, as well as external integration technologies such as Open Interface Tables, APIs and SOA Gateway;
- Experience developing technical and functional documents (MD-050, BR-100, MD-070, MD-120) with test cases, using Application Implementation Methodology (AIM)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, in addition to recent experience with successful implementations and/or upgrades
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Accounting or Finance.
- 5-8 years Oracle EBS functional/technical experience as a Business Analyst, Software Developer, or QA Analyst Strong
- Understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite with the Finance modules including GL, FA, AP, Purchasing, iProcurement, AME
- Experience as a ‘senior’ resource gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, and testing Individual must be committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service
- Expertise in understanding Dev/QA estimates Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, time management/organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
