Senior Pega Developer
Position Description We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to join our CGI Sacramento team! You will part of an exciting and progressive project for a major California client!Our preference is for you to work out of our "new" CGI Service Delivery Center in Knoxville, TN location. The other option is working at our client site in Sacramento, CA location!You'll help this huge, multi-faceted agency improve their processes and legacy systems under one unified enterprise solution.You will use technologies such as Pega, in conjunction with our standard methodologies for Service-Oriented Architecture, Master Data Management, Big Data, and Business Process Management, you'll make a lasting impact by helping our client more optimally and efficiently serve its citizens via modernized channels and technologies.You will make a lasting impact by helping our client serve its clients via modernized channels and technologies. Joining our complementary team of architects and engineers to partner with our well-established client means that you'll get to take on a wide array of problem-solving challenges in a collaborative and encouraging environment for years to come.Your future duties and responsibilities• Attend and contribute in design sessions to design system functionalities• Build and maintain system functionality based on approved designs and following project standards• Work with business analysts to ensure fidelity to designs• Work with architects as needed to build and follow standard approaches to design the application• Unit test code using project processes and tools• Perform Unit Integration Test prior to code being deployed to test environments• Perform code reviews and other quality control measures per project standards• Collaborate with other developers and provide mentorship to junior developers• Diagnostic issues reported by users in production environment• Participate in production cutover activitiesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role• 5+ Years - Programming experience with PegaDesired qualifications/non-essential skills• Experience with database structures, theories, principles, and practices• Experience using REST and SOAP services in enterprise applications• Experience working on geographically spread teams and interacting with developers, team leads, and product owners every day• Thrive in a team environment• Customer focused• Solid grasp of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Database tools, and Team Foundation ServerMinimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree#LI-RS2#DICEInsights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients' digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
