Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. The role involves managing and reconciling accounts within a supply chain context, with a focus on landed cost calculations. This includes understanding the total cost of a product from the factory floor to the buyer's door. The Sr. Accountant will also need to be familiar with general ledger and reconciliation procedures and be prepared to work on location for initial training with some flexibility thereafter.Responsibilities: Manage and reconcile accounts with a focus on supply chain operations Calculate landed cost of products, including price of goods, shipment costs, insurance fees, customs duties, and any other charges incurred along the way Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all accounting tasks Utilize software systems such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for accounting purposes Handle journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation Carry out month-end close procedures Apply knowledge and experience in global supply chain management Manage and resolve any accounting issues or inquiries Monitor and collect delinquent payments when necessary Maintain accurate records and ensure all accounting procedures align with regulations and standards. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is mandatory Hands-on experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries management is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is required Experience in Global Supply Chain accounting is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
