Description Title: Sr. Accountant - CONTRACTLocation: Onsite - Whites Creek, TennesseeLength - 2+ monthsOur client is in need of a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant with a hands-on attitude. This role is 100% onsite. The Sr. Accountant will play a critical role in managing various accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, month-end close activities, reconciliations and audit requests.Responsibilities: Process and record journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Prepare and manage monthly accruals Perform month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reports Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger, balance sheets, and credit cards Respond to audit requests and ensure all required information is provided Continuously review and improve accounting processes Utilize Sage Intacct software for various accounting tasks Maintain expert knowledge in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Credit Card Reconciliation, and Accruals Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.Requirements Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage Intacct software is a huge plus Proficient in performing account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation Capable of creating and managing Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Proficiency in Credit Card Reconciliation Understanding and experience in managing Accruals Experience in Audit Prep and managing Audit Requests Must have an in-depth understanding of accounting and financial principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must have strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
