- Minimum of five years' experience with LAN and WAN technology
- Experience performing troubleshooting in and undocumented and poorly configured network
- Experience building VLANs, trunks, configuring WAPs, etc
- Experience developing network documentation, including topology diagrams
- Experience researching a poor network and building a migration plan from current state to the standard state
- Experience performing re-IP projects (recent experience with this - last 5 years)
- Experience with all requirements of a re-IP including managing DHCP scopes, re-addressing printers, etc
- Experience developing project workflows and task lists to achieve a thorough and successful outcome
- CCNA required
- 3.2 Mil project to replace all LAN switches and APs with new equipment
- 33 main locations (21 addiction recovery facilities and 12 Acute Psychiatric facilities)
- Numerous outpatient or other sites grouped within a particular main site
- Includes re-ip of location
- Build of standard VLAN and IP structures and migrate locations into the standard
- Purchasing all new Meraki switches and APs, we are not using anything that currently exists in the rack or ceiling
- Requesting availability for 100% travel to be onsite when performing the re-ip and network cutover
- Some network troubleshooting will be required for facilities that have not been remediated yet
- Will likely be called upon to investigate a network to see if there is anything quick that can be done to remediate latency, etc before we replace the network with the remediation project
- Auvik is available for network visibility and troubleshooting (it may not be setup well and may need some attention from someone with experience with these tools)
