The Staff Accountant will be integral to the financial health of the organization, contributing to important financial decisions. The ideal candidate has a CPA or the desire to get a CPA. Responsibilities: Process and record company transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely. Carry out month-end close procedures and generate necessary journal entries. Assist in the preparation of the company's budget to ensure financial efficiency. Analyze financial information to ensure all operations are within budget. Prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs. Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Assist in auditing processes and work with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and understand the company's financial needs. Communicate financial insights to management, helping guide decision making processes and business strategy development.Qualified candidates contact Daniel ShomoRequirements Candidate must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position. Proficiency in executing tasks related to 'Month End Close' is required. Previous experience with 'Journal Entries' is a must. Experience in 'Budgeting' is essential for this role. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. The candidate should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations is required. The candidate should be able to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required. The candidate should demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
