Description We are in the search for an experienced Tax Manager - Public to join our team in the CPA industry, located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. You will be in charge of overseeing tax engagements, fostering client relationships, and managing staff. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage complex income tax returns Foster and maintain relationships with clients Strategize and implement tax planning Supervise staff and distribute tasks Utilize your knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and Accounting Functions for efficient task completion Use Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software and QuickBooks for managing and processing tax-related tasks Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for documentation and reporting purposes Handle Annual Income Tax Provision tasks efficiently Resolve customer inquiries related to tax matters. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA firm Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services Solid understanding and experience in Accounting Functions Experience in Annual Income Tax Provision Strong knowledge in Compliance Proficiency in Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software Experience in using QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required, a Master's degree is preferred Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
