Job Title/Role: Technical Support Administrator

Job Location: 601 Mason Road, Suite 180, LaVergne, TN 37086

Duration: 6 months contract

MUST work onsite Mon-Fri daily - shift will be early, start your day at 6 or 7am, if you can't come till 8am then that work okay too - 8hrs a day shift

This is client facility that refurbishes all of the phones, tablets, etc.

Our facility in LaVergne is located in the Middle Tennessee area - between Nashville & Murfreesboro.

The Contractor must be on site as it is an IT Support role (no remote option).

Must be a seasoned candidate 5 plus years with a stable work history

Job Description:The Technical Support Administrator is responsible for providing technical support via telephone, at the user's desk, or remotely for various enterprise hardware and software issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Documents, tracks, and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution. This position will respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.

Job Duties:
  • Work closely under the guidance of local senior support staff
  • Support local office with assistance from Tier3 IT staff, as needed
  • Ensure that established methodology and processes are followed and adhered to and contribute to building best practices.
  • Deliver assigned internal projects supporting company systems and infrastructure on time and in-budget
  • Perform software installations, machine deployments, and upgrades for all company-supported software packages
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic routines to identify problems relating to hardware, software, and network communications
  • Maintain hardware and software of company desktops, printers, and phones
  • Train staff on the use of company standard software and general PC usage as needed

Operational
  • Ensure the local WAN/LAN network topology is supported as designed and necessary changes are made as required.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and provide end-user support per request from various departments and contractors\vendors.
  • Repair and recover hardware or software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted users.

Communications, Network and IT Support Management
  • Ensure that infrastructure requirements are addressed/planned as part of the product range.
  • Ensure corporate ethics and company direction is used in making key decisions.
  • Ensure that systems and services assigned as your direct responsibility are sufficiently supported to meet client expectations and SLA’s.

Project ManagementManagement of projects and related resources as required or directed depending on role/responsibility by the project.

Required Skills:

Experience:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience working in Information Technology supporting and troubleshooting Computers, Printers, Server(s), and other Network issues in a corporate network environment
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VOIP phones, VPN, DHCP, AD, DNS, WINS, and FTP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess good time management and organization skills

Requirements: Primary technical skills
  • Knowledge of computer operations and their interfaces
  • Working knowledge of communications protocols and networking technology and hardware
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture.
  • VOIP PBX experience, setting up and implementing IP phones
  • Windows 10 desktop implementation and support
  • Microsoft Office and Office 365 services.
