Available Openings 1PURPOSE AND SCOPE:Conduct training programs for temporary and regular employees. Develop metrics and applying training to increase performance.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as SOP training, quality training, proper technique, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, refresher training, review of each production process, etc.

Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.

Participates in studies to determine training needs with the department.

Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

Formulates teaching outlines and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, and demonstrations.

Selects or develops teaching aids for use in trainings such as training handbooks, Power Point Presentations, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.

Selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.

Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures on current and new procedures. Work with management, production supervisors and Technical trainer to complete changes through the related system.

Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.

Supports production documentation needs.

Confer with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

Builds productive working relationships.

May refer to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.

Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.

Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :Bachelor’s Degree required; in lieu of degree additional years’ of experience and/or education may be considered.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:0 – 2 years’ related experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong presentation skills.

Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Should be able to write neat and legibly. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to convey important information to those in management, to maintain high production quality.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. Ability to calculate fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions and apply in practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have the ability to handle several duties at one time.

Knowledge of Database software, Development software, Spreadsheet software, Design software, Internet software, manufacturing software and Word Processing software.
