Actalent is seeking a Test Technician in the Nashville, TN area!Description:
Will be setting up tests, performing tests, gathering data and analyzing and communicating back to designers
Will be testing new and current products as well as customers parts
Testing parts like filters, pumps, heat pumps, gas heaters, and compressors
Designs test setups and execute tests incorporating equipment such as flow meters, pressure transducers, vacuum transducers, voltmeters, and computerized test equipment where applicable
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have min of 2 year degree - prefer Engineering Technology Degrees
4 Year Engineer preferred - someone that comes from mechatronics would be nice / more mechanically inclined person to identify mechanical issues with the prototypes
Competent and comfortable with intermediate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles
Strong aptitude and experience with the testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
